MAGIC WAND: CLAIM IT AND IT'S YOURS
Any wonderful item from a fav film that you would love to have? Type in the box above left, it will come right to me.
Julie says: I'll take the house in Something's Gotta Give. Looks pretty magical to me... (oh I agree!!-JG)
JG: That Blue Orb from Starman, Glenda's Magic Wand, and Dorothy's Ruby Red travelin' slippers
LAUREL: A gig playing piano or spinet or harpsichord in the Hogwarts Castle in any Harry Potter movie. (I'm pretty sure that even though us Muggles just see Hogwart as an abandoned ruin, that if I climbed around in the ruin, I'd encounter a keyboard instrument sitting waiting for me in a little vestibule somewhere. And when I sit down to play it - pulling up a handy rock to sit on - that there would be a certain song that would transport me into the real Hogwarts.)
also, in Elf, the movie... I would like to go see that Xmas tree with them and also sing in the caroling group in Central Park that gets the sleigh moving...Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear...
also want to spend the night in one of the houses in Munchkin Land
JG: That magic desk in LOVE LETTER; the Christmas Bell from Santa in Polar Express (Oh I forgot, I HAVE one!!), a ride in the TIME MACHINE from CONTACT
Laurel: I'd like to see La Boheme at the Met (as in Moonstruck), maybe not sitting right next to Nicholas and Cher, but I'd like seats with a view like they had. Also I'd like to be able to go shopping for a dress for the opera where Cher did, except I would pick out something emerald green and more flow'y. I'd get my nails done like she did, but mine would be nice and short and have a sheer rose polish. Also I would wear much flatter shoes. I would wear my black velvet coat, over that. I think she also wears a black velvet coat....
JG: I'd like to own that yacht in OVERBOARD, and the magic paintbrush that Walt Disney used during the titles of his animated films.

FAV SCENES:
In the movie "Somewhere in Time", do you remember the words spoken by the Elise while she was on stage..out into the audience to the man she was about to realize was "the man of my dreams"...really beautiful.
Elise's soliloquy:
"The man of my dreams has almost faded now. The one I have created in my mind. The sort of man each woman dreams of in the deepest and most secret reaches of her heart. I can almost see him now before me. What would I say to him, if he were really here? Forgive me, I have never known this feeling. I've lived without it all my life. Is it any wonder, then, that I fail to recognize you? You-- who brought it to me for the first time. Is there any way I can tell you how my life has changed? Any way at all to let you know what sweetness you have given me? There is so much to say...I cannot find the words. Except for these-- I love you! Such would I say to him, if he were really here."
